Dear Contributor,

The North Country Goes Green Irish Festival celebrates a long history of charitable contributions.  We are proud of our vast outreach in the community that benefits so many.

The history of the North Country Goes Green Irish Festival began in 1985 as a way to fund Project Children North, a program that enables children from war torn Ireland to come to the North Country and spend a summer of peace with host families in the Tri-County area.  Since its inception, the Festival has grown and so has our outreach into the local community.  Monies raised have also been used to provide over $100,000 in scholarship aid to students in Jefferson, Lewis, and St. Lawrence counties.  Further, over $300,000.00 in donations has been given to local organizations such as the Urban Mission, Disabled Persons Action Organization, CAPC, and the Children’s Home of Jefferson County as well as many others.
